Laptop Support
Welcome to the Laptop Support website.
This website has been designed for students taking part in ECU Advantage faculty based projects in order to assist with information about laptops and to help trouble shoot problems when using laptops.
It is intended for students who have ECU Advantage laptops on loan from the faculties as well as for students who own their own laptops.
Here you can find information regarding specifications of your laptop, instruction on how to use your laptop and where to get further help and assistance. You can also download the Laptop Survival Guide 2008 Reference Card.
As well as technical information the site contains policies and procedures related to the ECU IT infrastructure. Take time to read them as they may become useful in case your laptop is damaged or stolen or you want to know more about copyright material for your study and assignments.
A separate section called Downloads contains support documentation ready for print. These handouts provide answers to "How to… " questions.
Right now, MS Office 2007 users can also download Reference Cards for Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Powerpoint .
